Visitors

Welcome! If you’re visiting us for the first time, we pray that you experience the presence of God in Scripture, song, Word and abundant hospitality. Since we are committed to offering hybrid worship, you may be joining us in person or online.

If you are here in person, greeters will welcome you, hand you a bulletin with the order of worship, and ask you to sign our guest register. They can answer questions you have about Heights Christian Church or the Disciples of Christ, and provide literature if you want it.

We have large print bulletins at the rear of the sanctuary—just ask a greeter.

We’re happy to see your children! Our worship service is intergenerational and we have space for families of young children (up to 7 years old) in the front of our worship space. Books and softs toys help younger children to participate in way that is age appropriate. We have art supplies and activity bags for elementary aged children as well. Occasionally, children are invited to participate in an activity outside of the worship space during part of the service. You are welcome to join your child or stay to hear the sermon. We also have access to a professionally staffed nursery for the youngest children if you  should find that helpful.

We celebrate Communion every Sunday, and all are welcome to participate. (Children are welcome to participate, if you wish.)

Immediately after the service, we have a time of fellowship, including the folks on Zoom as possible.

If you are joining us online, we invite you to gather bread and something to drink so you can join us in Communion. You may also want to light a candle near you when the Peace candle is lit early in the  service. During prayer, you are welcome to add your intentions to the chat window and someone in the chapel will speak them aloud.

Hope to see you Sunday! If you need more information, please call 216-561-4800 or explore this website.
