Blessings Abound!

HCC is excited to announce that the sale of our building on Van Aken Blvd. has been finalized! East View UCC is now the owner of that building, and they have plans to serve the community in new ways. We look forward to partnering with them on Porch Talks for A Beloved Community and other projects.

We are now located in Plymouth Church UCC, (2860 Coventry Rd.) and are grateful and delighted to remain in Shaker Heights where we can continue to serve the community. We have already found ways to partner with Plymouth for community projects and special worship services.

“This move allows our congregation to right size” and shift our focus away from property concerns and toward mission and community engagement”, says the churchs minister, Rev. Roger Osgood. We see great potential for growth and renewal in this new chapter of our congregational life.”

Our worship service is in Herr Chapel at Plymouth every Sunday at 11:00 am. The service is also available on Zoom and Facebook Live. We have Adult Study Sunday mornings at 9:30 (in the Chapel and on Zoom) and weekday Bible Study on Zoom. Some current mission projects include collecting winter gear for the Wall of Love at Lomond school and providing items for Family Promise’s Holiday Shop. You are invited to participate in any of our worship, study and mission offerings – All are welcome!

While our physical address has changed, our website, emails, and phone number all remain the same – so reach out to us if you would like more information about our programs and ministries, or if you have an idea for partnering with HCC in service to the community.
