Porch Talks for a Beloved Community – May 19 – 4:00 pm

The first of three talks focused on continuing Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King’s call toward social justice. The first speaker is Amanda D. King founder and creative director of Shooting Without Bullets a program empowering teens to use art as an activism model.

Note: Porch Talks will be held outdoors (weather permitting) from the porch where Rev. King spoke in 1965. Bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on. In the event of rain, the talk will move indoors.
